Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this site is the property of Crofte Studio S.à r.l.-S or of Geoffrey Crofte. This covers the texts, the logo, the page designs, the book titles and their cover artwork.
You may quote short extracts for review, teaching or news purposes, as long as you name the author and link back to the source page. Any other reuse, copy or adaptation, in whole or in part, needs written permission first.
Third-party names and marks that appear here, such as WordPress, Bluesky, GitHub or CodePen, belong to their respective owners.
Privacy
This site collects nothing about you. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising, no contact form and no user account. Nothing you do here is measured or profiled, and no personal data is sold or shared.
There are also no third-party requests. Fonts, icons, styles and images are all served from this domain, so no other company receives your IP address when you visit.
Your visit does appear in the standard server logs kept by the host, which typically record the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the browser identification. These logs exist for security and for keeping the server running, they are not used to identify you, and they are handled by OVH under its own retention rules.
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to any personal data concerning you, and ask for it to be corrected or erased. Write to the address above, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données, the Luxembourg data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
Two small things are stored on your own device, both in your browser's local storage, and only once you have made the choice yourself:
- the theme, if you pick light or dark mode with the toggle at the top of the page;
- the language, if you pick English or French with the switcher next to it.
Neither ever leaves your device. They are not cookies, they are not sent to the server, and they are not used to recognise you. Clearing your browser data removes them, and the site then simply follows what your browser and your operating system already ask for.
Accessibility
Accessibility is treated as a requirement here, not an afterthought. The accessibility statement sets out the level reached, how it was tested, and how to report a problem.
